Gui Zhi Ren Shen Tang
Left cun floating moderate with right guan deep wiry or deep thin.

Shao Yao Gan Cao Tang 1
Right guan wiry and slippery.
Wood overacting on earth. Right guan wiry is Bai Shao pulse. Slippery is from heat in the stomach from the wind of the wood. Right guan wiry and slippery.

Both hands all pulses wiry.
Xiao Jian Zhong Tang
Yang pulse (left cun) unsmooth, yin pulse (right guan) wiry.
Commonly this is right guan wiry, left pulses generally weak. This is already a taxation pulse. The left pulses drop and the right pulses lift (and have a wiry edge). Can also have a left cun floating and weak indicating Gui Zhi.

Big but forceless.

Zhen Wu Tang 1
Deep thin tight, all 6 pulses fail to lift the fingers.

Same pulse as ZWT, differentiate by sx. MHXXFZT has respiratory sx.

In a MHXXFZT there is likely to be more tightness on the right cun and on the left chi (but not always). Right cun tightness for the MH lung closure and left chi tightness for lack of yang in the kidneys.

Deep thin rapid.

Deep thin slippery or soggy.
Deep thin soggy is emphasis is on dampness. Deep thin slippery is emphasis is on heat. Most of the slipperiness should be felt on the left chi because it’s in the lower burner.
Dang Gui Si Ni Tang 1
Thin wiry, deep thin wiry.
Cold blood deficiency stasis. All pulses will be deep thin, but the wiriness should just be the left guan. This is a very weak wiry, it is not strong.
Dang Gui Si Ni Tang 2
Deep thin with tendency towards expiring.
Particularly left guan. All pulses will be deep.
Dang Gui Si Ni Jia Wu Zhu Yu Sheng Jiang Tang
Left guan deep thin wiry tight.
The expiring quality is masked by the tightness. The high dose of ginger should also produce a right cun tight.
Wu Zhu Yu Tang
Left guan wiry, thin wiry or deep thin wiry.
Should also have some tightness. Bottom depth but less deep than DGSNJWZYSJT pulses.
Can be mistaken for a Chai Hu pulse. The wrong fx will make sx worse.
Right guan can also be wiry because of wind blowing on earth. Right guan can even become slippery because of the wind.
Wu Mei Wan
Left guan big wiry often empty on the inside, sometimes left guan wiry tight.
