What is Shekhinah?
A
The place where God’s presence rests and can be felt. It is another quality of God and comes from the word “Shakan” which means God’s dwelling on Earth.

Why do Jews believe in Shekhinah ?
A
In the Torah Moses encountered Shekhinah on Mount Sinai when he recieved the laws directly from God: “The glory of the Lord rested on Mount Sinai… Moses entered the cloud as he climbed up the mountain”

How do Jews remember Shekhinah?
A
They believe that Shekhinah can be felt while they are praying or studying scared text. Jews also go to a temporary booth for Sukkot holiday where they belive God can also be felt and expirenced
