Longer than they are wide, slightly curve for strength, humerus, ulne, radius, tibia, fibula, etc

Cube shaped, spongy,some of the carpals and tarsals

Complex shaped,vary in spongy/ compact, facial, vertebrae

Embedded within a tendon, knee
