SH - Plan and Manage Quality Flashcards

Q

What is Timeboxing?

A

A previously agreed period of time during which a person or a team works steadily towards completion of some goal. Rather than allow work to continue until the goal is reached, and evaluating the time taken, the timebox approach consists of stopping work when the time limit is reached and evaluating what was accomplished.

Q

What does histogram show and how can be used in quality analysis?

A

It can show the number of defects per deliverable, a ranking of the cause of defects, the number of times each process is noncompliant, or other representations of project or product defects.

Q

What’s Pareto chart and difference from histogram?

A

Like the histogram, the Pareto uses the bar placement to convey information. The key difference being that in a Pareto, the bars are organized by the order of impact.

Q

What is Cause and Effect Diagrams / Fishbone Diagrams / Ishikawa Diagram?

A

Q

What are Check Sheets?

A

The check sheet (checklist) ensures that all of the tasks are completed since the owner of the check sheet must enter a value next to each task. When he or she sees that there is a value missing beside a task, he or she will then promptly complete the missing task.

Q

What are Scatter Diagrams?

A

Is a graph that shows the relationship between two variables. A Scatter diagram can demonstrate a relationship between any element of a process, environment, or activity on one axis and a quality defect on the other axis.

A

Are a description of a project or product attribute and how to measure it, hence it would be able to identify whether the customer would be satisfied with the deliverable as the metrics are clear and objective.

16
Q

What is Quality control?

A

Process that is used to analyze and evaluate the project deliverables against the requirements.

17
Q
