Q

Low G

A

When the rotor disk is no longer supporting the weight of the helicopter during flight.

  • Abrupt fore cyclic, esp from S&L or a climb
    • Turbulence induced inputs

Symptoms

  • Weightlessness
  • Uncontrolled roll to the right

Correction

  • Immediate, smooth aft cyclic to reload rotors
  • Once stable, roll to level attitude
