- abscess
- GI: appendicits, pancreatitis, cholecystitis, pyelonephritis
- infected hematoma
- septic pelvic thrombophlebitis

what microbiology should you consider?
A
- group A Strep (watch out for toxic shock syndrome, nec fasc)
- mycoplasma
- ureaplasma
- HSV
- ureaplasma
