A method where participanats give their opinions,feelings & experiences related to given topic.

A live encounter where interviewer asks a set of questions to assess an interviewees thoughts/experiences
Questions may be pre-set(structured)
or develop an interview goes along(unstructured)

A set of writted questions used to assess a persons thoughts/experiences
Define Open quesions
- Questions are phrased in a way that participants are free to answer how they like-no restrictions
- Produce Qualititive data

- fixed number of responses
- Produces quantitative data (numericval data)

- Rich in depth & detail
- Useful for sensitive topics as participants can elaborate
