Reflective practice is a way of studying your
own experiences to improve the way you
work. It is very useful for health
professionals who want to carry on learning
throughout their lives.
what are the two types of self refection
- reflection in action - refers to reflective thinking one is doing while doing the action
- reflection on action - in contrast occurs after the action has been completed.
benefits of self reflection

- Must be motivated
- Must be honest, but willing to learn and grow from
