A

Monetary gain – refuse, do not take advantage of your client
Giving/receiving gifts – politely decline, small box of chocolates for a group is okay
Hugging/Touching - therapeutic touch is okay but be careful it can be misinterpreted. Assess every situation – gender, culture etc.

maintained with the client’s significant

-expert power: person who has much knowledge on a subject
-reward power: the power to give incentives or compensation
-coercive power: the power to use unpleasant consequences to influence others
-referent power: influence because the group likes and respects the leader
