This is a rating assigned to a website or URL based on its historical trustworthiness and security track record, guiding web filtering systems in allowing or blocking access accordingly.
What is browser-based?
Browser-based: Browser settings or supplemental add-ons or extensions.
Search-engine-based: Customized web-filtering settings for search engines.
What is client-side?
Client-side: Software running on the client operating system (OS) performs web content and URL scanning and filtering.
What is service-provider-based?
Service-provider-based: Third-party companies that provide subscription-based web-filtering services.
