Doesn’t result in acute symptom but constant inflammation of the intestine reduces abillity of gun epithelial cells to absorb nutrients. and fail to act as barrier
PEM and what is it?
protein and energy malnutrition
nutrient lvl fall below the lvl needed to maintain normal b0dy function and may be fatal
