Conversion -> believe it’s their duty to convert others, holy books say this, can lead to discrimination of other religions

Bringing up children -> Most religions encourage their children to be raised in their religion, some books teach about a good LAD

Interfaith marriages -> Some religions want both partners to be the same (because of ^^^^) and so they can all be together in their LAD

  • Jesus taught it -> Good Samaritan (Samaritan the hero in the parable)
  • Jesus treated everyone equally
  • St Paul (GALATIANS 3.28)
  • Christian church -> made statements condemning discrimination

A

A few - Believe Christianity is the only truth and all others are wrong
Some - People can get to God through different religions, but only Christians have the full truth
Many - All religions are equal and there are merely different ways of finding God.

A

(Known as fundamentalists/exclusivists)
They interpret the bible and this verse literally “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one can come to the father except through me.”

  • The bible teaches salvation comes through believing in God
  • The full truth about God is seen only in Jesus who is the incarnation of God.
