Searching for or rescue of persons who become lost injured or killed while in the outdoors as a result of a nature or mad cause disaster
Four phases of SAR SAME
Search for and find the subject
access and reach the subject

evacuate the subject
Phase one search
The first and often the most time and resources consuming phase is the finding of the subjects new sensors
Access phase 2
The second phase is to actually have rescuers reach or establish contact with subject
Medical phase 3
The third SAR phase involves rendering any medical and or assistance to the subject
Evacuate phase 4
Ultimately the subjects need to be moved factors that determine how the subject is evacuated includes medical needs environmental challenges weather conditions

promote the prevention or mitigation of SAR events injury and loss of life
perform all SAR functions affectively efficiently and economically
