What is the difference between qualitative and quantitative data/observations?
Qualitative- observations using the 5 senses, using word descriptions
Quantitive- measurable, using numbers
How do you know whether an observation is qualitative or quantitative?
Qualitative is the quality.
Quantitive is quantity (numbers).
What is the definition of an independent variable?
The one factor that the experimenter changes or manipulates. “I change.”
What is the definition of a dependent variable?
The factor that the experimenter measures.

What is the definition of controlled variables?
All the factors you keep the same or constant for all groups in the experiment.
