A
- involved in a task where participants are required to retrieve as much info as they can

- involves recalling info in the correct order as which they were presented

- various prompts/clues to assist the retrieval process

- identifying the correct info among a list of incorrect pieces of information
- usually more accurate that recall —> provides more cues to assist retrieval

A

- easier than learning for the first time
