What is an observation?
Noticing or finding details, examples are color, texture. The 5 senses usually help with this :)

Independent Variable
What is the dependent variable in this situation;
John wanted to see if plants grew when he was away, so he set up a system to water his plants on his 4 day trip. What is the dependent variable?
The amount of inches the plant grew
What is a control group; and why is it important to experiments?
A Control group is the group that is not tested, this is important because it shows baseline results.
What is DNA?
The genetic code inside of cells.
What are cells?
The building block of life, organisms and species. (including us!)
What is the combination of energy and chemical reactions in our body?
Metabolism
Homeostasis is the process where living things maintain a _______ internal enviorment.
