What is Schizoaffective disorder
A
Characterised by active phase symptoms of schizophrenia eg delusion, hallucinations, disorganised speech, grossly disorganised behaviour or negative symptoms
Presence of manic or depression that is not brief relative to the psychotic episode
Individuals with Schizoaffective disorder in contrast to mood disorder with psychotic features, delusion and hallucination for at least 2 weeks without co existing prominent mood symptoms.
