On the control console, what button should you hold to test the batteries?
Yellow button
What indicates that the batteries are good?
Green
What indicates that the batteries are dying or if they are already dead?
Red light indicates they are dying, and no light indicates they are already dead.
How do you test the full manual alarm activation and how then how do you turn it off?
Pressing the Red button on the control console will activate it, and pressing the Yellow button twice will deactivate it.
What should you do before pressurizing the SCBA?
Ensure the purge knob is closed and the air saver button is activated.
What happens when the cylinder valve is opened?
- The vibralert will sound
- Pak alert will turn on
- Regulators heads up display will turn on
If the VIBRALERT alarm vibrates, how much air do you have left in the bottle, or what else could that alarm be indicating?
25% air, or your 1st stage reducer (of the dual stage reducer) is malfunctioning

A fifteen second beep sequence followed by a two-tone chirp

Humming when breathing out the air.
