A

itchy rash
symmetrical
hands, wrists, axillae, thighs
generalised itch, 4-6 weeks after infection
or hours after subsequent infection
worse at night
erythematous papules
excoriations
linear scratch marks
dermatitis
nodules
crusting
vesicles
burrows - silver tracts

management of scabies

A

clean sheets, clothing, house
contact tracing
topical 5% permethrin - jawline down and left overnight
repeat after 7-10 days
oral ivermectin

topical steroids after treatment for itch
