What are the 4 types of licenses?

What is an on-license?
Sell or supply to allow consumption ON the premises
What is an on-license?
Sell or supply to allow consumption ON the premises/conveyance
What is an off-license?
Sell or deliver or have deliverd for consumption OFF the premises
What is a Club-license?
Licensee can sell or supply to club members, accompanied guests, those with visiting rights for consumption ON the premises.
What is a Special-license?
Sell, supply and/or allow consumption ON or OFF the premises to any person attending occasion or event described.
What is a Restricted area?
No under 18’s as patrons.
Only exception is staff if they are:
-Cleaning, repairing, maintaining, altering or restocking the area of equipment
-Removing or replacing such equipment
-Stocktaking
-Checking or removing cash
-Preparing or serving any meal
What is a supervised area?
Under 18’s can be there when supervised by a legal guardian/parent

Display of signs requirements?
Licensee/Manager must display a copy of the license and the name of the manager prominently at the principle entrance.
Section 267
Powers of entry:
At any reasonable time: To ascertain compliance with this act.
At any time: RGTB an offence against this act is committed against this act (includes people being on licensed premises 30min after close time).

Powers to demand info if RGTS someone has/is/attempted to commit any offence against this act we may demand:

A constable may take an intoxicated person home (unless not safe/practicable), a temporary shelter or police station. Must caution rights as they have been detained.
