a set of actions or isn’t that are carried out in a particular order. they tell service providers what they have to do and how to do it

fire drill, risk assessments, emergency evacuations, first aid procedures, food safety

at floor signs after mopping floor and no entry signs to prevent unauthorised access
what are risk assessments
something that needs to be carried out of any activities or visits and trips that care setting’s organise
what dangers do risk assessments identify
potential hazards, trip hazards, risky activities( more staff supervision)
name the fire safety measures
fire safety notices clearly displayed throughout setting, signs indicating fire doors and assembly points, keeping fire doors clear, fire extinguishers, fire blankets in kitchen areas
name 6 security measures
staff lanyards, staff uniform, electronic security with pin codes, external food and gates locked, staff monitored desks, window locks and restrains, signing in and out system(visitors and staff), cctv, monitoring of keys, visitor badges
what are the 5 risk assessment steps
- look for hazards
2.decide who might be harmed and how - consider the level of risk-decide on the precautions needed to reduce risk
4.make a written record of the findings - review the risk assessment from time to time to improve precautions if necessary
