When is a TESTRA sequence used?

A

If an abnormal or emergency situation occurs at any phase of the flight, the Pilot-in-Command will transmit a TESTRA briefing to the Flight Director via interphone. If the situation warrants, the Pilot-in-Command may decide to conduct the TESTRA briefing in presence of the Flight Director in the flight deck.
