Approved containers, away from other materials that burn easily, in areas colder than the combustion temperature
Where should a fire extinguisher be located?
Hung up in a dry, clean area next to an exit. The bottom should be at least 4 inches above the floor. No more than 3-5 feet above the floor
How far should you be from a fire when being extinguished?
6-10 feet

An orange triangle with a red strip on each side
What items can have a package label?
Food products, repair parts, paint labels, hazardous products, pesticide labels
What is on a pesticide label?
Legal documents ; labels have instructions of using, disposing and safety prodcuts
What should you do with pesticide containers
Take the containers and chemicals to designated sites where hazardous materials are collected
What should you not do with pesticide containers?
Bury materials ; it can pollute the groundwater and soil
3 main factors affecting groundwater?
Soil type/other geological characteristics, pesticides persistence/mobility within soil, and the production application methods of pesticide users
