Purificator

A

A white linen, rectangular cloth, folded lengthwise. It is used to purify the Sacred Vessels at the Offertory, and after Holy Communion. It can be distinguished from the finger towel by the placement of the cross in the middle.

Pall

A

A white, linen, solid square, used to cover the chalice when it is not being used during the Holy Mass.
There are two sides of the pall; one side is made of linen, and the other side is more ornate and is often decorated. The linen side is used to cover the chalice.
