Anorexia
Malaise
Diarrhea
Generalized lympadenopathy
What are the complications of Rubeola?
Otitis media
Pneumonia(most common death of kids)
Encephalitis (most common COD of adults)
Severe malnourish Vit A deficiency
What is the nursing intervention of Rubeola?
VITAMIN A for severe measles (200x recommended dose/vomiting and headache side effects educate pt)
Antipyretic
Cool mist vaporizer
Eye care dim lights clean eyelids, and it can get crusty, so clean gently
Skin care tepid baths ni soap
