7 days before symptoms appear to 4 days after onset of rash

Symptoms?
A
- Prodrome e.g. low-grade fever
- Maculopapular rash, initially on the face before spreading to the whole body, usually fades by the 3-5th day
- suboccipital and postauricular lymphadenopathy

Complications?
A
- Arthritis
- Thrombocytopaenia
- Encephalitis
- Myocarditis
