Designed for navigation at or above 18,000 feet MSL & includes jet route structure.

What are area charts?
They show congested terminal areas.
(Examples Dallas/Fort Worth or Atlanta at large-scale.)

Where can information on possible navigation aid limitations be found?
NOTAMs & A/FD
What are NOTAMs?
Notices to Airmen.
Time critical aeronautical information, temporary nature.
Information includes primary runway closures, changes in status of nav aids, radar service availability, and other info.

What is a D NOTAM?
Regarding enroute nav aids, facilities, services, and procedures
What is an FDC NOTAM?
Changes to IFR charts, procedures, and airspace usage
