This is a common condition affecting around 10% of caucasian adults, in which there is recurrent facial flushing and pustule formation

- Alcohol
- Spicy foods
- Stress

- Recurrent facial flushing due to visible blood vessels
- Pustule formation
- Thickening of the skin around the nose (Rhinophyma)
- Vascular ectasia (Telangiectasia)
- Patchy inflammation with plasma cells
- Perifollicular granulomas
- Follicular demodex mites
