Fitting Preformed Line Terminations

• With the rope under tension, wrap one leg of the Dead-End two or three pitches around the rope.
• Align the cross-over marks and install the second leg two or three pitches.
• Complete the application of the Dead-End, one section at a time, always applying the short leg first.
• To ease the application on the last two pitches, the legs may be split.
