Head of the practise, in charge of all staff, oversees the day to day running of the practise, don’t have to be vets

Have an additional qualification in a specialist subject, veterinary surgeons, self employed or employed by the practise, referral work
What are the primary responsibilities of veterinary surgeons?
Must be qualified and registered, do surgeries, consultations, medicine, arranging referrals, dealing with emergencies, answer to the practise owner/manager

Must be qualified and listed to use the name ‘veterinary nurse’ and to undertake schedule 3 procedures
