What heights can you conduct visual circuits at Mona?

Mona Tower (#4) will provide information on rotary traffic using the nearby ‘East Gate’, what does this mean to you in the circuit?

Rotary traffic using the East Gate will be at or below 500ft or Valley QFE. Could be best to avoid LL ccts at Mona until they are clear to maximise deconfliction.

What is the maximum number of aircraft or speaking units in the circuit at Mona?

3 - with one extra permitted providing it is joining or departing.

What must you look for in the undershoot to Mona rwy 04?

Traffic on the A5. It should be stopped by lights however, if a vehicle ignores the lights an approach must be discontinued if it would lead to direct overflight of the vehicle.

Should request a Traffic Service or a Deconfliction Service from Approach whilst transiting.

Exceptions:
- Departing Valley 13 for Mona 04
- Departing Mona 22 for Valley 31

In the above two cases a pre-noted Tower to Tower is acceptable when approved.
