CHANNEL: large angular bed load very small shallow slow movement lots of boulders
VALLEY:

CHANNEL: becoming wider rounder, smoother bed load u-shape faster movements
VALLEY: lots of farmland not as steep u-shape waterfall hard rock on top, soft rock on the bottom
transportation occurs here.
