- Case selection
- Establish good OH (HPT)
- Diet advice
- Fluoride
- -> High risk duraphat 2,800ppm x2 daily (normal toothpaste other times)
- -> Otherwise normal advice re TP & mw
- -> Varnish (22,600ppm) 4 monthly

- Case selection
- -> Avoid mild cases
- -> Inform retainers part of tx - Retainers

A
- Type of tooth movement (prolonged, high force, intrusion, large movements, torque)
- Root morphology (blunt, pipette, resorbed already)
- Prev trauma
- Nail biting
- Short root syndrome

- Soft tissue trauma
- Recession
- Loss of PD support
- Tooth wear/ enamel #
- Loss of vitality
- Allergy
- Failed tx
