A
  1. Case selection
  2. Establish good OH (HPT)
  3. Diet advice
  4. Fluoride
    - -> High risk duraphat 2,800ppm x2 daily (normal toothpaste other times)
    - -> Otherwise normal advice re TP & mw
    - -> Varnish (22,600ppm) 4 monthly

    - -> Avoid mild cases
    - -> Inform retainers part of tx

  1. Type of tooth movement (prolonged, high force, intrusion, large movements, torque)
  2. Root morphology (blunt, pipette, resorbed already)
  3. Prev trauma
  4. Nail biting
  5. Short root syndrome
