What is an AP class II?
Maxilla more than 3mm in front of mandible
What is an AP class III?
Mandible in front of maxilla
i.e. maxilla <2-3mm in front
What is assessed vertically?
FMPA
- Frankfort plane
- Mandibular plane
What are the occlusal features of digit sucking?
- Proclined uppers
- Retroclined lower
- Localised AOB/ incomplete OB
- Narrow upper arch +/- unilateral crossbite
What is mandibular displacement?
Discrepancy in RCP to ICP

What is the BSI definition for incisor Class I?
- Lower incisor edge occludes/ lie below upper central incisor cingulum
- Normal OJ + OB

- Lower incisor edge lie posterior to upper central incisor cingulum
- Upper centrals proclined OR ave
- Increased OJ

- Upper centrals retroclined or ave
- OJ minimal/ may be increased
