Pt with symmetrical inflammatory polyarthritis with morning stiffness >30 min. currently proximal joints of both hands are swollen and tender. dx?

-conjunctivitis or uveitis, urethritis or cervicitis & asymmetric joint pain.
What is Spondylolisthesis? dx, tx?
Spondylolysis?
anterior displacement of a vertebral body due to b/l defects in the posterior arch MC @L5
dx: XR
tx: RICE, PT, NSAIDS/Acetaminophen, if grade 3+ surgery
vs Spondylolysis = fracture of the pars interarticularis
1st line tx osteoarthritis?
Acetaminophen! NSAIDs are considered step up therapy
Muscle relaxer preferred in elderly?
Tizanadine
