Persuaded the colonists to be against the king.

-Christmas night, Washington and army crossed Delaware river
-Sneak attacked the Hessians who were sleeping

Who are Hessians and where are they from?
They’re German Mercenaries(foreign soldiers) who fight for pay.
Battle of Princeton: Main events
-General of British troops(Cornwales) rushed to stop Washington
-Washington and his men left the campfires burning to throw off the British
-They waited in the trees until the British were there, and waited until morning to sneak attack.

What was the result of the battle of Fort Ticonderoga?
COlonists ran out of ammo and were forced to retreat.
Dorchester Heights battle: Main events
-Gen. Washington needed heavier guns to defeat British
-Took weapons from Fort Ticonderoga and put his army at Dorchester Heights
-Patriots placed cannons and waited for British
-Gen. Howe saw how well placed the cannons were and had to retreat

A colonist that stays loyal to the king.
