What cells are most susceptible to hypoxia? and why?

A

Hepatocytes are more susceptible to hypoxia because of they get low levels of oxygen -the more metabolically active a cell is the more suspectable it is the hypoxia

What is the main difference between apoptosis and necrosis

A

Necrosis; the cell membrane will break down and this will cause inflammation there is also cytoplasmic changes Apoptosis; there is no breakdown of the cell membrane and there is no inflammation

A

Thrombosis- is a clot which can lead to coagulative necrosis because it blocks off the nutrients to the vessel
