Conservative tx for retrobulbar hematoma?
Monitor for;
Changes in visual acuity
Increased IOP
Txl;
ice packs
pain control
acetazolamide
What if retrobulbar hematoma is associated with visual loss or increased IOP?
Lateral canthotomy is the procedure of choice.
Signs of orbital cellulitis?
Pain with eye movement
Proptosis
Tender
Central retinal artery vein occlusion tx?
Gentle massage of the eye
UV keratitis characteristics?
- latency (6-12 hours after moi)
- hx
- severe pain

- photophobia with foreign body sensation
