Body mechanics and postural alignment strategies:
- Keep the spine in alignment
- Hold objects close to the center of gravity
- Avoid twisting through the spine by facing the object straight on
- Use both sides of the body equally and maintain a wide base of support

Malingering is intentional misleading, conscious faking for external gains
Symptom magnification is exaggeration or overstatement of symptoms relating to a medical condition. Required part of functional capacity evaluation (FCE), clients should present with predictable levels of function and dysfunction
