MOBILE RETAILERS:
These retailers have no fixed shops for operating their business. They deal in limited variety of goods and can easily change place or locality of their business as well as the nature of goods according to the demand. They sell goods at comparatively lesser price.
They may be of following types:
(a) Peddlers:
They sell the items of daily use i.e. vegetables, fruits and milk etc, in the streets by carrying them without any vehicle. They sell the goods at cheaper rates. Normally the poor and low-income people buy from them. Peddlers have access only to particular area or locality.
(b) Hawkers:
They use any conveyance like bicycle, motorcycle, handcart and van etc. for carrying the goods. They save the time of customers by providing goods and services of daily use at their doorstep. Hawkers can access/cover more area due to their conveyance.

What is meant by chain store / multiple shops.
A chain store is one of a group of retail stores of the same type. It is centrally owned having some degree of uniformity in operation. i.e., sign boards, internal decoration or types, qualities and prices of good etc.
These shops are scattered in various localities. For example, Bata Shoes, Nirala Sweets and Shezan Bakers etc.
What is meant by a co-operative store.
Cooperative stores are the stores, run by consumers cooperative societies on the principle of self and mutual help. They purchase goods directly from manufacturers and distribute them on retail basis to its members and outsiders. They work on no profit basis and for the welfare of the members.
