TTN What are the 4 risk factors?
- Maternal: Caesarean, maternal diabetes & asthma,
- Baby: male sex, LBW and macrosomia.
Asthma What are the Components of the asthma predictive index that increase likelihood of future asthma in a child under 3 years of age?
- Child: occasional wheezing, wheezing apart from colds, Dr Dx of eczema in patient, serum eosinophilia
- Dr Dx in parents; allergic rhinitis and asthma

Pneumonia How do you Inv for recurrent pneumonia?
Search for specific causes based on Hx and exam and do CT scan with contrast
Pneumonia What are DDx for recurrent pneumonia in same location?
1. Anatomic abnormality
– External airway compression (ie
– lymphadenopathy, vascular
abnormality)
– Intrinsic airway abnormality
2. Congenital malformation
– CPAM
– Pulmonary sequestration
– Bronchogenic Cyst
3. Other:
- Foreign Body
- Right Middle Lobe syndrome
- Bronchiectasi
- Persistent Infection (ie TB)
