A

Europeans - Atlantic seaboard, Asian - Pacific Rim state, and Hispanics - southwest. Greater proximity to country of origin lowered the cost of moving to the US and the return trip home.

What were some of the factors that drew certain concentrations of immigrants to various regions?

A

Close to home country, established ethnic concentrations, and the economic conditions of the communities. Ethnic networks helped people settle and get jobs. Industry in the midwest in the 19th and early 20th centuries drew immigrants to cities.
