Cross sectional design
A
collection of information from any given sample
- single: only one sample is drawn
- Multiple: 2 or more samples are drawn at different intervals -> Cohort analysis: series of surveys conducted at time intervals

A
fixed sample of population elements repeatedly measured on the same variables

A
obtains evidence of cause and effect relationship (one influences the other)
