Lack limbs and movable eyelids, kinetic skull adaptations, upper and lower jaw separate, no external ear, poor eyesight, keen olfaction, Jacobson’s organ on roof of mouth, infrared heat detecting pits in pit vipers.

Lateral undulation(normal), Concertina(narrow passageways, trees, pushing against sides, Rectilinear(slow, stalking forward), Sidewinding(loose sand)

Viper(hinged fangs), bite and release, old world(rattlesnakes, copperhead, water moccasin. Non vipers(fixed fangs), bite and chew,(coral, cobras, mambas, and kraits), SEA SNAKES HIGHLY VENOMOUS
