A

A tube that connects the uterus with the outside of the body.

A

It acts as a canal for the penis to fit into to deliver sperm during intercourse.
During menstruation, the menstrual blood leaves the body through the vagina.
It’s the birth canal during childbirth.

Describe the uterus. (3)

A

Hollow, with extremely strong muscular walls that can carry and protect a baby.
Two Fallopian tubes at the top of the uterus connect it to the ovaries.
The bottom neck of the uterus is called the cervix which is tightly closed to protect the inside of the uterus.
