Progesterone:
-female sex hormone that does not cause development of secondary sex characteristics
FSH:
- released from the anterior pituitary
- anterior pituitary hormone that stimulates the Sertoli cells
- three hormones needed for spermatogenesis

LH:
- Released from the anterior pituitary
