Numerous mitochondria, provide ATP to move

Paired organs, produce sperm

Maintains testes at cooler temperature (34-35degrees Celsius)
Seminiferous tubules
Coiled tubules packed into lobes of testes, produce sperm
Interstitial cells
In the testes surround the seminiferous tubules and produce the male hormone testosterone
Epididymes
Sperm are stored here
Seminal vesicles
It’s secretions are added to semen at the time of ejaculation
Prostate gland
Secretes milky alkaline fluid that aid sperm motility and survival
Bulbourethral glands
Have mucous secretions with pre ejaculate. Lubricate penis, lubricate urethra to help sperm
Ovaries
Produce eggs and sex hormones
Oviduct
Tubes to the uterus. Sweep up eggs from ovary using cilia lining and wafting fimbriae at end of oviducts
Uterus
For nurturing embryo, opening in cervix leads to vagina
Cervix
Contains opening to uterus. Prevent bacteria from entering
