Where do the gonadal arteries branch off of?
The descending aorta.
Where do the left and right gonadal veins drain?
Right drains into the IVC and the left drains into the left renal vein.
What is the function of the seminal vesicles?
Add sugar rich substance to the sperm.
Where do the seminal vesicle secretions and semen mix?
In the ejaculatory duct.
What are the 3 regions of the male urethra?
Prostatic, membranous, and spongy
What is the function of the prostrate gland?
Adds secretions to semen and the smooth muscle contractions expel semen into urethra.
What is the structure that prepares the male urethra for semen?
Bulbourethral gland.

Perimetrium= serous layer, myometrium= smooth muscle, endometrium= mucosal lining.

Vesicouterine pouch and the rectouterine pouch.
