what treatment can be provided to increase the chance of successful adaptation to F/F, particularly for older pts?

A

a gradual transition via additions to P/P

25
where is a part flange extended to?
1mm beyond the max bulbosity of ridge
26
why are flanged immediate dentures favourable?
they afford better retention and make subsequent rebasing easier
27
what are the options for a denture flange where there is a deep labial undercut?
surgical reduction open face denture
