The belief that no God/s exist or life after death
- Not an organised doctrine and so morals and ways to live are determined by the individual
Humanism
System of thought that places more importance on human matters rather than divine or supernatural ones

A feeling of disappointment resulting from the discovery that something is not as good as one believed it to be

A group of people with somewhat different religious beliefs from those of a larger group to which they belong
New Age
Term applied to a range of spiritual or religious beliefs and practices that developed in western nations during the 1970s
Neopaganism
Modern religious movement - seeks to incorporate beliefs or ritual practices from traditions outside the main religious, especially those of pre-christian Europe & North America
- E.g. Satinism, Wicca
Agnosticism
Believes that nothing is known or can be known of the existence or nature of God
- Focus on Knowledge
Omnipresent
Present everywhere at the same time
Moral Relativism
Notion that affects society-idea that what is right for me, may not necessarily be right for other people
Ethical guidelines
Used by groups & orgs -define what actions are morally right and wrong
Polytheism
Belief in more than one/many gods
- Hinduism, Mahayana Buddhism
Monotheism
The belief in one God
- Christianity, Islam and Judaism
